TIMES TO FISH
MID APRIL- EARLY MAY
Brown Trout in the 3 to 10 pound range with some Coho starting to show up and maybe a few Kings in the catch.
MID JUNE- MID JULY
Mixed bag sometimes all five species in the catch, larger fish, warmer weather, good action. Fish starting to suspend in the deeper water with fish gathering near the structure around low light periods.
OCTOBER
Big Kings are fading, but 2 and 3 yr. old Kings are easily accessible usually just off the structure, lots of great eating, clean 5 to 12 pound fish. Typically strong catches, with light boat traffic, mild conditions are common.
EARLY MAY- MID JUNE
Coho’s in the 3 to 5 pound range with some larger Kings, Rainbows, Lakers and Browns also in the catch. It depends on the weather when the big run of Cohos come in but mid-may is usually a good guess on the date, typically many limit catches are produced thru mid-June. Best time for fast action.
MID JULY-LATE SEPTEMBER
This is the beginning of Trophy time 4 year old Kings are starting to stage for their annual spawning run with mid to late August being midway on the run. Browns and Cohos are at their heaviest at this time. If you are looking for a Trophy this is your best bet.
